Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Rounds: Party Games & Dares ("the app"), published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
The licence you get
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not resell the app, redistribute it, reverse-engineer it, or extract its card decks to publish elsewhere.
Rounds Pro subscription
Rounds Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly, monthly and yearly, with a free trial on first purchase. It unlocks the locked games, the full card decks, the Wild intensity tier, unlimited-length Nights, custom cards and Night history.
- Billing. All purchases are processed by Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation.
- Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
- Free trial. If you take a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription at the price shown at purchase. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Managing and cancelling. You manage and cancel subscriptions in the Subscriptions section of the Google Play app, not inside Rounds. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds for a Google Play purchase ourselves.
- Price changes. If we change the price, Google will notify you and ask for your consent before the new price applies.
Content, and the fact that it is a game
The card decks contain questions, dares and prompts written to be provocative. They are entertainment, nothing more.
- Play at your own discretion. Never perform a dare that is unsafe, illegal, or that you or anyone in the room is uncomfortable with. Skipping a card is always allowed, and the app has a skip on every screen.
- The prompts do not describe anything about the real people playing. Any resemblance between a card and a player's life is coincidence.
- You are responsible for whether the content suits your group, especially where minors are present. Intensity tiers exist so you can choose; choose deliberately.
- The app does not encourage alcohol consumption, and no card in any tier references drinking.
Cards you write yourself
Rounds Pro lets you add your own cards. They are stored only on your device; we never see them and never moderate them. You are responsible for what you write and for the effect it has on the people you show it to. Do not write anything unlawful or intended to harass a specific person.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise that any particular game, card or feature will remain available in future versions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including anything that happens as a result of performing a dare or answering a question. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to the app and to these terms
We may add, change or remove games, cards and features, and we may update these terms as the app evolves. The current version is always available at this address. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate this licence if you breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
