Rounds is an offline party game app for a group of people sharing one phone. It contains 14 games in two groups. Eight party games: Truth or Dare, Would You Rather, Charades, Headbands, Most Likely To, Never Have I Ever, Hot Seat and Paranoia. Six quick decision tools: Roll the Dice, Coin Toss, Pick One (players place fingers on the screen and the app selects one), Elimination, Build Teams and Number Everyone. The signature feature is "The Night": the group queues several games, the app runs them back to back with one shared scoreboard, and the evening ends with a podium and a recap of who scored and who took the most forfeits. Players type nicknames into a local roster on the device. These are free-text nicknames chosen by the users, not verified real names, and they never leave the phone. MONETIZATION: a subscription called Rounds Pro, sold through Google Play Billing, in three options — weekly, monthly and yearly — with a 3-day free trial. Pro unlocks 5 additional games, the full card decks, the "Wild" card intensity, unlimited-length Nights, custom user-written cards, and the Night history. There are NO advertisements of any kind and no ad SDK. There is no one-time purchase. ACCOUNTS: there are no user accounts, no sign-in, no registration and no password. Nothing is synced to any server. PERMISSIONS: VIBRATE, for haptic feedback during turns and timers. The INTERNET permission appears in the app because the Google Play Billing library requires it to talk to Google Play; the app itself does not send, upload or receive any user content. CONTENT: the card decks contain questions, dares and prompts intended for teenagers and adults. They deliberately contain no alcohol-related, sexual or explicit content. The most intense tier ("Wild") is embarrassing and blunt but remains non-explicit. Users may write their own cards, which are stored only on their own device.
